Helen May Donley

Helen May Donley, resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, was born March 24, 1952 in Mason, Oklahoma to Alfred Leroy Tilley and Ida (Heneha) Tilley. She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68. Helen was a longtime resident of Okemah and always considered it home. On December 31, 2003, in Hichita, Oklahoma, she married James G. Donley. Helen worked for 15 years with the postal service. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Charles, J.W., Leroy, Kim and George Tilley and one sister, Marilyn Simpson. Survivors include her husband, James Donley of Henryetta; her son, Kirby Leonard and wife Amy of Newalla, Oklahoma; step children, James Donley and wife Hailey, John Donley and wife Mary and Laura Donley and husband Kyle; three brothers, Lester of Okemah, Tracy of Henryetta and Emmett of Chelsea, Oklahoma; three sisters, Josie Lee of Paden, Martha Beck of Henyetta and Zelva Tilley of Okmulgee; two grandchildren, Hayley and Hayden Leonard and seven step-grandchildren, Blake Fox, Brandon Fox, Kennan Williamson, Aria Donley, Miya Donley, Jace Donley and Jax Donley. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ParksBrothersFuneralHome.com. A viewing will be held Thursday, December 24th, 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date. Those who attend the viewing at the funeral home will be required to wear a mask.
