James L. Baldridge

Graveside services for James L. Baldridge will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Okfuskee Cemetery. James L. Baldridge was born February 6, 1941 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Alfred and Evelyn Baldridge. He passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his home near Okemah at the age of 77. James was a resident of California for over 40 years before returning to the Okemah area in 1995. He was a retired union carpenter working in industrial carpentry. He enjoyed raising cattle, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie Baldridge; his parents and one daughter, Cheryl Baldridge. Survivors include his son, William Baldridge of Okemah; one brother, Warren Baldridge of Okemah; sister, Carolyn Beatrice Nottingham and husband Billy of Washington State; five grandchildren, Brady McCurry and wife Tori, Erik Wygal and wife Sandra, Colton McCurry, James Baldridge and Rebecca Loerch and 8 great-grandchildren, Paytyn Mccurry, Camo Fellwock, Chisom McCurry, Presley McCurry, Canton McCurry, Finley McCurry, Failyn Heather Wygal and Aidyn James Wygal. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. Fred Carson.
