James Lee Walker Sr

January 10, 1947 - April 4, 2022

Funeral services for James Lee Walker Sr. will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Sand Creek Cemetery with military honors. James Lee Walker Sr. was born January 10, 1947 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Joseph Harold Walker and Christine (Brown) Luttrell. He passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Mr. Walker was a 1965 graduate of Bearden High School. He has been a resident of Luther, Oklahoma for over 30 years. He worked as a warehouse manager for Galleria Furniture and also enjoyed sports, working his garden and especially spending time with his grandkids and family. He and Ina Lou Harrelson were married July 12, 1991 in Cromwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Walker proudly served his country with the United States Army having been stationed in Korea. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jackie Dale Walker and Raymond Dean Smith and one daughter, Tammie Joe Deeter. Survivors include his wife, Ina Lou Walker of the home; three sons, James “Jim” Walker and wife Victoria of Edmond, Joey Walker and wife Kimberley of Skiatook and Patrick Walker and wife Shauna of Mustang; five daughters, Rhonda Reynolds and husband Terry of Paola, Kansas, Sharon Allgood of Dibble, Oklahoma, Christy Guthrie and husband Gary of Osawatomie, Kansas, Shelly McCoy and husband Ed of Dibble, Oklahoma and Theresa Deeter and husband Charles of Noble, Oklahoma; one brother, Joseph Walker and wife Janet of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; three sisters, Darlene Kojis of husband Rik of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, LaDena Moore of Okemah and Barbara Red and husband Walker of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 29 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and officiated by Rev. Andy Young. Online condolences may be made at www.ParksBrothersFuneralHome.com.
