He passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020 at his home in Okemah, Oklahoma at the age of 56. Mr. Batson grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Henryetta High School. He was a current resident of Okemah. He worked in construction and floor covering. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music, rooting on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Cubs and especially spending time with his family and girlfriend, Carolyn Rankin. He is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Robbie Batson. Survivors include his son, Brody Batson of Ankeny, Iowa; his daughter, Braedynn Batson of Elkhart, Iowa; his mother, Freeda Batson of Des Moines, Iowa; his girlfriend, Carolyn Rankin of Okemah; one brother, Ronnie Batson of Bearden, Oklahoma; his sister, Gwyneth Ayres of Okemah and one grandchild, Kadence Batson.
