Funeral services for Luther H. Ott will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Bearden Cemetery. Luther H. Ott was born September 23, 1929 in Bearden, Oklahoma to P.V. and Edith (Smith) Ott. He passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 92. Mr. Ott grew up in Bearden, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Bearden High School. He and his wife, Velma were have resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the past 63 years. Mr. Ott retired from American Airlines after more than 30 years of employment and proudly served his country with the United States Army. He enjoyed playing golf, doing yardwork, going on walks and, when he was younger, hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Velma (Billups) Ott of the home; one son, Mike Ott of Tulsa; daughter, Kathy Hart and husband Kenny of Tulsa; one brother, Lucky Ott and wife Carolyn of Santa Clara, Texas and his sister, Leato Hardwick of Stuttgart, Arkansas.
