Marianne Malone Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marianne Weldon (Winkle) Malone was born May 27, 1945, in Oklahoma City, OK to Loyd and June Weldon. She graduated from Okemah High School in 1963. Marianne attended cosmetology school as well as Oklahoma State University for studies, and then began her 40 year career as a beautician in Okemah. During this time, she met and married Ronnie Winkle and had two sons Chris and David Winkle. Marianne was member of the First Baptist Church in Okemah and served over 25 years in the children’s nursery. In 2010 Marianne joined Celebrate Recovery’s organization and completed leadership training in order to serve her community. She lived a life that showed her love for the Lord and love for her family and friends every moment of every day. Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and June; and by Ronnie Winkle. Marianne is survived by her sons Chris Winkle of Okemah, OK, David Winkle and his wife Cheryl of Wylie, TX; by her grandchildren Tyler Winkle and his wife Sammie, Robert Winkle, and Matthew Winkle; by her great-granddaughter Stevie Winkle; by her brother Robert Weldon and his wife Cassie; and by a host of friends and family who loved her dearly. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, June 24, 2022, at 10:00am at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Thursday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and officiated by Bro. Scott Robison.
