Ronald Dene Frank Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral services for Ronald Dene Frank will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Frank Family Cemetery west of Okemah. Ronald Dene Frank was born July 19, 1954 in Okemah, Oklahoma to John and Nancy (Chupco) Frank. He passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Mr. Frank attended Butner Schools as a child before graduating from Sequoyah High School. He proudly served his country with the United States Army from 1974-77 having been stationed in Germany. Mr. Frank was a production specialist for Exxon Mobil for 31 years before his retirement. He attended the Arbeka Methodist Church and the Kaney Chapel. He enjoyed watching the NHRA drag racing, gospel singing, OU and Thunder ballgames and especially loved his daughter and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Dewayne Frank and sister in law, Florence Frank. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Folks of Shawnee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Destiny Scarberry, Brooklyn Folks, Haleah Folks, Cruz Folks, Blake Folks and Mia Folks; one great-grandson, Desriel Stargell; one brother, Roger Frank and wife Teresa of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mary Frances Ybarra and husband Julian of Manhattan, Kansas, Darlene Taryole and husband Ken of Okmulgee, Michele Billie and husband Randy of Okmulgee and Janine Bond and husband Terry of Ada; eight nieces, Donna Hergert and husband Danny of Plainview, Nebraska, Christine Schmachtenburg and husband David of Omaha, Nebraska, Julia Young and husband Mike of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Jamie Frank and husband Mikey of Oklahoma City, Melissa House and husband Ricky of Oklahoma City, Jennifer Taryole of Okmulgee, Valerie Taryole of Okmulgee and Adrienne Bond of Ada; three nephews, Ramon Ybarra of Manhattan, Kansas, Derrek Bond and wife Ashley of Norman and Johnathan Bond of Oklahoma City; dear friends, Donna, Tim and Nick Russell and Charlene Nixon of Shawnee and numerous great nieces and great-nephews. Serving as active pallbearers will be Michael Young, Derrek Bond, Johnathan Bond, Tim Russell, Nick Russell and Robert Horton. Honorary pallbearers include Eddie McKane, Billy McKane, Ken Taryole, Julian Ybarra, Terry Bond and Frank Coachman. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
