Services for Russell Jay Sanders will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM, graveside at the Dustin Cemetery. Russell Jay Sanders was born December 10, 1989 in Ada, Oklahoma to Rodney and Anna Sanders. He passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 32. Russell attended Dustin High School before going to work in the oilfields as a pipeliner. He loved spending time with his friends and family and also hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Survivors include his parents; his daughter, Haven Sanders; his sister, Sherie Underwood of Wetumka; aunts and uncles, Max Frye of Dustin, Lisa Smith of Dusti, Ann Purdom and husband Steve of Dustin, Ross Sanders and wife Jeannie of Dustin, Karen Balthrope of Marlow and Billy Balthrope of Dustin; numerous cousins that he loved deeply and niece and nephew, Xavier and Spynser Underwood that he loved and took care of like they were his own.
