Vicky Joyce Bray

February 7, 1950 - July 7, 2020

Funeral services for Vicky Joyce Bray will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cowboy Church (2721 N. 377 Rd., Holdenville, OK). Interment will follow at the Allen Cemetery in Allen, Oklahoma. Vicky Joyce Bray was born February 7, 1950 in Borger, Texas to Royce A. Gardner and Laverne (Click) Gardner. She passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at her home in Wetumka, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Mrs. Bray was a resident of Wetumka, Oklahoma and attended the Fairview Cowboy Church. She and Denton Bray were married April 17, 1993 in Wetumka. Mrs. Bray worked many years as a nurse’s aide with the pediatrics department of St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and earlier in life with an oil company in Houston, Texas. She enjoyed checking on cattle with her husband Denton and especially her horse “Royce”. She also enjoyed dancing and traveling to Houston and Galveston to spend time on the beach. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Denton Bray of the home; two sons, Denton DeLee Bray II. of Tampa, Florida, Jeffrey Michael Bray of Konawa, Oklahoma, one daughter, Michelle Annette Woodruff and husband James “Bo” of Seminole, Jon Ramby of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Greg Pope of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Suni McClung of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters, Patsy Ramby of Broken Arrow and Phyllis Pope and husband Julian of Broken Arrow; four grandchildren, Riley Brown, Rowdy Brown, Kendra Lindsey and Paige Cotton; four great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Tavin, Suni and Scarlet and numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family. Serving as active pallbearers will be Riley Brown, Rowdy Brown, Jeffrey Bray, DeLee Bray, Bo Woodruff and Race Bishop. Honorary bearers include John Ramby, James Smith, James Eastep and Grant, Galen, Garrett, Guy Sheneman, Adam Osberghaus, and Claude Stafford. Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma and officiated by Chaplain John Roberts. Online condolences may be made at www.ParksBrothersFuneralHome.com.
